Software for creating and signing digital waivers
Smartwaiver is a piece of software you may use to create digital waivers and then have them signed electronically. The software only works well if you have a touchscreen device and a stylus pen. In that case, you may have people sign digital waivers with their own signature. Since the waivers are not covered by any form of insurance, you need to make sure the signer recreates his or her own signature with the stylus pen and touchscreen device. Writing on a touch screen device is sometimes tricky, so the user has to find a way of taking a look at the signer’s regular signature to check to see if it matches the one on the digital waiver, (you can look at their ATM card). The software is a nice time saver and may be a suitable tool if you run something such as a gym, pool, or other activity where there is a risk of accidental injury.
